title = "A passive self damping busbar to reduce DC-link ringing",
abstract = "In this paper a novel, passive, self-damping DC busbar is developed to reduce voltage oscillations (ringing) on the DC-link. This busbar contains both laminated and spaced current pathways. A continuous time transfer function model for the busbar is created. This allows the design of the busbar to be optimized for a large damping ratio whilst retaining minimal voltage overshoot. Experimental tests are performed to validate the busbar{\textquoteright}s performance. This new busbar has a simple and compact structure that can be implemented-on or retrofitted-to most power electronic converters with low cost.",
