Thus, there are many sophisticated 3D interior design application available for the professional interior designers to create a cohesive look that is representative of the house owner's style. However, the cost to hire an interior designer is high and may exceed their budget. Although internet consists of several open source interior design application in the internet, they are too complicated to be learnt and used. The main objective of this research is to devise a simple yet interactive 3D interior design application to the non-technical users with the fundamental functions in order to design their own blueprint for a living room. The system also introduces the traditional input method: mouse and keyboard that do not require the knowledge of computer graphics and 3D modeling techniques. All they have to do is to click on the specified buttons and customize their attributes to produce a straightforward design product. Besides that, proper guidance such as tooltips and descriptive tutorials are provided to the user when they encounter some difficulties when using the system.
