Abstract
These volumes comprise the proceedings of the sixth international symposium on spatial data handling (SDH.) Under the auspices of the International Geographical Union Commission on GIS and the Association for Geographic Information the SDH committee have, for the first time, published proceedings based on fully refereed complete papers rather than just abstracts. The 71 papers, abstracted separately, cover major scientific advances in GIS and related fields.
