Abstract
This output presents a speculative architectural project developed by Thomas Ellis under the academic supervision of Antonino Di Raimo, Paula Craft-Pegg, John Pegg and Simone Sfriso. The project was selected for publication by SCOSA (The Standing Conference Of Schools of Architecture) as part of a national sector review on AI in architectural education, highlighting innovative studio-based approaches to digital literacies, automation, and emerging design methodologies.
The tutors contributed conceptual and intellectual guidance, studio directions, and critical academic input supporting the student’s research and design development. This is a pioneering project in our School and Architecture Studio Practices. The publication forms part of a broader dialogue on the future of architectural pedagogy in the United Kingdom and reflects the Architecture School’s engagement with sector-leading debates on AI and design education.
