Abstract

During June and July 2025 Vera Hadzhiyska completed an art residency at Art Space Portsmouth. The residency was culminated by the yearly Open Studios weekend at Art Space during which all 29 studios are open for visitors and artists are there to share their work and research with the audience.

Vera showcased a selection of projects including existing work from the long-term project "With the Name of a Flower" and more recent work in progress and photobook drafts from the project. Other projects on display were "Night Walks", "Silent Dialogues", Family Screenshots" among others.
