Abstract
One can barely read a paper on the development of aquaculture in Europe without the word sustainability being prominent to the article. One of the biggest concerns of environmental organisations, the general public, policy makers, etc. is the growing demand for fishmeal in fish feed, and the impact this will have on industrial fisheries and the future growth of aquaculture.
