Abstract

The theme of reuse of the existing buildings is one of the most discussed and difficult topic that scholars and professionals are facing nowadays.
The problem of the reuse of the existing buildings is not only part of the Italian situation but exists also in all Europe that regards not only the huge amount and obsolete existing heritage but also includes a series of matters related to “if”, “how”, “when” realize an intervention of reuse on an existing (historical
or not) building.
The will of this book is to invite people to reflect on this topic.
