    Focal Points ■ Pharmacists’ reasons for not being in favour of the over-the-counter (OTC) statin were multifactorial and provide indications of how their misgivings might be addressed ■ Provision of a satisfactory and convincing evidence base might improve acceptance by the pharmaceutical community, of future prescription – only medicine (POM) to pharmacy medicine (P) switches
