    Abstract

Students from the University of Portsmouth studying urban design, sustainable and interior design showcased their work by mapping out a boccia court, various athletic tracks, swimming lanes and javelin fields. The event looked at how people used the square and how the drawings impacted upon their behaviour and movements. An improvised dance was held reflecting on the drawings. Pupils from Mary Rose School played a game of boccia. All the activities were shown live on the Big Screen. Held on 28 May 2010, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, UK.
