N2 - This output is one part of a practice research portfolio consisting of 12 performances, two journal articles, and two unpublished scripts. The Veterans Project is a performance of curated oral histories shared by military veterans with the communities in which they live.
This research performance featured Erika Hughes discussing methodologies for creating performance with veterans, interwoven with a performance by RAF veterans Peter Lee and Stephen Radley who share stories and visual images of personal histories of service. The three concluded the performance with a talkback discussion of ways their work in theatre, storytelling, and photography impacts mental health.
