Abstract

Putting together this Handbook of Accounting in Society has been a collective effort. We hope that the voices of its many makers come through to you and help you to spot the accountants where you are, and offer a sense of what they are up to. In conclusion, we wish to share with you a moment of collecting our thoughts and observations upon encountering accounting in society. This is an opportunity for us to acknowledge, look forward, and add texture around the chapters and contributions as we are handing this Handbook over to you
