Enhancing the experimental feasibility of distributed quantum metrology

Abstract

We present feasible Gaussian schemes for the estimation with Heisenberg-scaling sensitivity of an unknown parameter distributed within an arbitrary optical network. We discuss how these schemes overcome some typical experimental drawbacks of quantum-enhanced metrology.
