Entrepreneurial finance journey: a new perspective on the finance escalator

    Abstract

    The paper develops a new theoretical perspective on the entrepreneurial finance escalator to incorporate its dynamic nature within the context of local and macroeconomic environment. The research looks into internal motives and decision-making processes of entrepreneurs that shape their finance choices when starting and developing a new venture. These challenges are pursued in this study, constituting its theoretical contribution to the entrepreneurial finance literature.
