Abstract

This explainer focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) and information disorder. It first outlines the conceptualisation of information disorder and highlights the impact that AI technologies have had on this phenomenon. The following section then discusses the
trust, identity, privacy, and security implications of the intersection between AI and information disorder, before consideration is given to some of the possible future developments in this space.
