N2 - The techniques for formal manipulation with arbitrary and special rule bases introduced in the previous two chapters are a powerful tool for complexity management in fuzzy systems. However, due to their basic nature, these techniques can be used only in SRB systems or very simple MRB systems. So, if we want to deal with complex MRB systems, we have to use more advanced formal manipulation techniques.
