This report concludes Project 1 of the research funded by Grantscape, as described in the list of deliverables. Earlier work is described in Cardiff University report numbers 3103, 3112 and 3137. Project 1 was designed to examine methods of improving the quality of a composted product by removing contaminants, or by improving the suitability of the product for plant growth.
