Abstract
Functional groups dividing for the EW E model of the Pearl River estuary ecosystem were studied on the basis of generalizing the dividing principles. The result could cover the energy flow processes of the Pearl River estuary ecosystem. It was important for next step to construct the trophic model of of the Pearl River estuary ecosystem for studying the development of the fishery and promote teh applicatiosn of the Ew E software in China.
