Abstract

Throughout this handbook, our chapter contributors provide an account of the rapid developments in gendered technology facilitated abuse, the diversity of scholarship seeking to better understand it, as well as the need for reforms and activism to address it. This introductory chapter provides an overview of the organising themes examined in this state of the art volume of gendered violence and technology. Ultimately, this handbook represents a vital gathering of knowledge on gender, technology and violence; one that will no doubt seed further investigations and analyses that will expand and enhance the terrains explored here.
