Abstract

Professor A. F. M. Maniruzzaman is the Chair in International Law and International
Business Law, University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom (2004 - ) and is the
founding Professor of Law and Director of Research & Postgraduate Research
Degrees, Portsmouth School of Law. He is also Honorary Professorial Fellow at the
Centre of Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law & Policy (“CEPMLP”), University of
Dundee, Scotland and Visiting Professor of International Law at the Faculty of
International Law, China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing. Professor
Maniruzzaman has practiced law in Bangladesh as a member of the Bangladesh Bar
Council and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
