Abstract
This article identifies the areas of potential liability of the arranger of a syndicated loan both to the borrower and to the lender. The author discusses the risks which the arranger may take during the process of syndicating a loan as well as methods employed in order to protect the arranger from being liable to the borrower as well as to the lender. The most significant case law and market practice is discussed in this respect.
