Abstract
This chapter includes a review of the recent developments in this field motivated by the need for changeability and reconfiguration and its consequences on the maintenance strategies. It also includes technical details about the author’s own work (Yuniarto and Labib, 2005; 2006) in this field and obtained scientific results as well as industrial application, future challenges and new directions.
