Abstract

This article describes some of the important processes to consider when planning the implementation of a research project. Key organizations and external links are identified, including the roles of ethics committees and regulatory organizations. In addition, organizational elements which need to be given careful thought in the planning stages are discussed. Finally, steps to successful dissemination are outlined.
