    Abstract

    The chapter initially discusses the evolution of sport in Cyprus and the moves to explore the development of rugby union in Cyprus. The chapter also discusses possible adaptations that could occur to help the game in Cyprus as rugby union continues to evolve globally. The chapter documents the major findings that have emerged from research and includes a number of recommendations for the future development of rugby union from the perspective of Cyprus. Specifically, the chapter is structured as follows:
