Dr Cressida Bowyer of the University of Portsmouth interviews Dr Tom Sykes and Dr Louis Netter, authors of Coast of Teeth: Travels to English Seaside Towns in an Age of Anxiety, about the importance of walking as a research method, metaphorical lenses that can be used to understand seaside towns and the challenges of Brexit, Covid and austerity to coastal communities up and down the country.
