Abstract

A monthly discussion show, hosted by Professor Lincoln Geraghty, (Professor of Media Cultures / @LincolnGeraghty), that explores popular culture matters. Filmed by BA Television Production students in the Faculty of CCI at the University of Portsmouth.

This month's show kicks off with news items that cover such variety as: how some of the big streaming platforms have been losing subscribers – particularly Netflix, a new drama series on Netflix called Heartstopper, Disney and the Florida “Don’t Say Gay” law, before leading on to a discussion about Gender and sexuality on screen. Dr Who is also discussed which was filmed prior to the new Dr.s announcement. Feel free to comment below.
