Abstract

At the intersection of coaching and learning this chapter will explore, from an educator and student perspective, implications for pedagogical practice as an enabler for effective leadership. This chapter will be rooted in a number of approaches, concepts and models including those from Taff et al. (2016), Trigwell & Prosser (2020) and Stewart (2023). The chapter will extend these insights by identifying intersections through the learning environment where relational and network development is encouraged. It will discuss problems that may be encountered by coaches and mentors of leadership with their implementation and propose methods on how these may be overcome with the overall aim of achieving effective leadership.
