Abstract
Argues that there is no inherent conflict between rights to collective bargaining, collective consultation and trade union representation of individual workers. These rights mutually reinforce one another and right of representation and collective consultation can be used by trade unions to build their membership in a workplace with a view to obtaining recognition for collective bargaining purposes.
