Abstract

Compares rights to strike in Britain after the Employment Relations Act 1999 with rights to strike contained in the post-Apartheid South African Labour Relations Act (LRA). Argues that the approach of the LRA of positive right to strike based on the Conventions of the ILO should be adopted in Britain.
