    Abstract

Communicative language teaching (CLT) aspires to be authentic, learner-centred and genuinely communicative. Mobile technology, long seen as a classroom distractor, now have the potential to fulfil these aims of CLT in ways previously not possible. This workshop will introduce and practically demonstrate ways in which the smartphone can lead to a communicative revolution in the classroom.
