Abstract
The 9th International Sport and Discrimination Conference took place between 11th and 12th March 2026 at Dublin City University, Ireland, bringing together academics, students, practitioners, and policy makers. This conference review synthesises the key themes emerging across the two-day event, including insights from parallel sessions, panels, workshops, and keynote presentations, and considers their implications for the field of sport and discrimination research. The review then offers critical reflections on the conference, highlighting key tensions and identifying areas for future development. It concludes by signposting the 10th International Sport and Discrimination Conference, to be held in 2027 at Université Paris-Saclay, France.
