Abstract

We present the first in a series of interviews that were conducted by Tom Sykes as part of the research for his upcoming book The Years of Travelling Anxiously, available from Icon Books on March 26. In today’s instalment, journalist, author and filmmaker Iain Overton contends with the stress of being deployed as a journalist to war-torn Somalia mere weeks after the birth of his daughter.
