    Abstract

This document is a short summative report which details a set of tests carried out on prototype utilities produced as part of the KEEP Transfer Tool Framework (TTF). It also reports some experiences of using the TTF for media transfer within the scope of WP1. The document provides information related to the testing which was designed to establish whether the prototypes could meet the performance requirements specified by the cultural heritage institution stakeholders: • File transfers carried out within the transfer tool framework with a specific transfer tool should achieve 95% of the speed of the tool in stand-alone mode. • File transfers carried out with the transfer tool framework achieve a new error rate of less than 5% when compared with the normal error rate of the tool in stand-alone mode. Under test conditions, the prototypes comfortably exceeded the required standard and produced content which was indistinguishable from that produced by the transfer tools working in standalone mode. This was accomplished with no significant deterioration in operation s
