Abstract

Defining and processing °exible queries is an important research topic in database area. We may distinguish two ways to support flexible querying in databases: (i) developing interface systems that allow queries in pseudo-natural language, or (ii) developing an extended SQL-like languages. In this paper, we have adopted this second approach. The objective of this paper is to introduce a conceptual query language for accessing FSM-based databases. FSM is a data model that has been
recently proposed.
