Abstract
Transformation is a new project by Annie Cattrell, combining the disciplines of dance, sculpture and art history with audio, video and motion capture and 3D printing techniques. It revisits a continuing source of inspiration for her: Gian Lorenzo Bernini's famous Baroque sculpture Apollo and Daphne in the Borghese Gallery in Rome, of 1622-5.
