Abstract
Eastern Europe has just gone through three decades marked successively by the disintegration of the USSR and CMEA, rapprochement with the EU and, now, uncertainties about the future. We can approach these developments through the prism of the sensitivity of Polish, Ukrainian and Belarusian societies to the “communist idea” and the idea of “Europe”.
