Abstract
Six problem formulations exist in multicriteria-decision aid (MCDA). A large number of methods have been developed to solve them. In this paper, we will show that with small adaptations the PROMETHEEGAIA methods can solve all the six problem formulations, which simplify the task of a practitioner that needs to learn only one MCDA method to solve all type of problems. In order to further support the practitioners, user-friendly software integrating all the PROMETHEE-GAIA methods has been developed.
