Where We Belong (Book)

    Research output: Book/ReportBook

    Abstract

‘Where We Belong’ is a photographic artist book exploring themes of belonging, femininity and escapism through a portrayal of Jane Austen devotees.

The book takes you on a journey to the threshold between fiction and nonfiction, and between the past and present. This is a book that invites the readers to question where the performance starts and where it ends, and to challenge where the limits between reality and imagination lie.

The book includes a contextual text by curator Shoair Mavlian, director of The Photographer's Gallery in London.
