Abstract

This paper describes a wide-band experimental system designed to analyse an 11.647GHz transhorizon communication channel subject to troposcatter and anomalous propagation conditions. The salient features of the experimental equipment and the advanced signal processing techniques are described. Preliminary results describing the statistical characterisation of the channel are presented.
