Alien Invasion brought a host of props, costumes and other science fiction film and television artifacts to the City Museum where the public were able to engage and interact with displays, people and a number of experts on a variety of subjects relating to the genre. I provided the critical and intellectual contexts for the physical exhibits - writing descriptions and historical information to go alongside the objects on display. I also gave a public lecture on the influence of Star Trek on popular culture as part of a series of events organised while the exhibition was open.
