2 day workshop to explore the potential of the creative and cultural industries in China as drivers for growth and innovation.
The workshop brought together academics and practitioners from the UK and China to discuss the workshop theme. It sought to provide a catalyst for joint UK/China research into the Creative Economy, focussing on three key areas of Design, Heritage, and the Creative and Performing Arts.
Organised the AHRC of the UK, Research Councils UK China Office in partnerships with UNESCO Creative City (Shanghai) Promotion Office, the Shanghai Promotion Centre for the City of Fashion, the Shanghai Theatre Academy and the Jiangsu Department of Culture.
