This paper examines the potential insights into the development of a shared professional curriculum between disciplines of law and nursing. We have intentionally designed the new nursing curriculum at University of Portsmouth to build bonds of trust between these future professionals, with research suggesting that there are shared skills between professional disciplines (Murdoch, Epp & Vinek,
2017). We anticipate that the interdisciplinary environment will provide fertile ground for skill development in problem solving, relationship-building, communication and collaboration skills.
