This session will challenge the media stereotype of what a hacker is and look at the positive benefits of teaching children about hacking from an early age. Advantages which include developing the knowledge to better protect themselves and others when using digital devices, through to developing the mindset of a hacker that will help them beyond computing. Additionally it encourages new ways to see problems, being creative in their solutions and wanting to improve things, and actively looking for and sharing new knowledge.
