Pierre Failler and Ewan Trégarot, from the University of Portsmouth, coordinated a unique study funded by the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM): the monetary evaluation of ecological services rendered by the Banc d’Arguin National Park in Mauritania (PNBA). Their conclusions reveal the exceptional value of this park and its central role as a barrier to climate change
