Mr Aditya Singh
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree with History, Political Science and Geography as core subjects in 2007 from Banaras Hindu University. I also completed my Master of Arts in Geography from the same university in 2009. I further obtained Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Population Studies from International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) in 2010. Prior to moving to University of Portsmouth as a PhD student, I worked for four months as a Research Officer at the IIPS in a project entitled “Concurrent Evaluation of National Rural Health Mission”.
Owing to my Social Science background, my research interests are strewn across the disciplines of Population Studies, Public Health, Geography, Sociology and Economics. However, I am currently, in my PhD, looking at the shortage and distributional inequality in human resources for health in rural healthcare system of India.
