Dr Ann Emerson
Ann is a Lecturer in Education Studies and comes from a background of over 15 years of working in international education in various countries including Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, and Macedonia. She has experience working in education in conflict affected settings on in-service teacher training, reading, and vocational education projects. She is in the final stages of her PhD in International Education.
Ann’s research areas include citizenship education and the marginalisation of minority populations. She is also interested in the relationship between education and conflict and peacebuilding.
