I started my career studying Physics at the University of Warwick, and then did Maths Part III, followed by a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics at Cambridge. Before becoming a lecturer, I worked in banking as a Quant in interest rate derivatives for RBS, and also as a school Mathematics and Physics teacher.
