Dr Laura Seddon
Learning Support Tutor
I am the Study Skills Support Tutor for the School of Languages and Area Studies, providing support in academic skills and research skills. I have taught study skills in HE and FE, working in a wide range of subject areas. Having trained as a performer and obtaining a PhD in historical musicology, I am interested in gender and creativity, and how these relate to the writing process. I also run a small arts production organisation called Contemporary Connections which aims to commission new sound works related to historical research.
