Dr Liz Ford
I have been teaching at the Faculty of Business and Law since 2010, and was appointed as a full-time lecturer in the Marketing and Sales Subject Group in July 2013. I was awarded the Postgraduate Choice Award in the Student Union Golden Apple Teaching Awards in 2012. Before joining the Faculty of Business and Law, I gained professional experience in marketing in the not-for-profit sector. I studied as a postgraduate student on the MA Digital Marketing course at the Faculty of Business and Law, and also completed my undergraduate degree in BSc Entertainment Technology at the University.
My research interests include ageing consumers, online consumer behaviour, and sales management. I am particularly interested in Consumer Culture Theory (CCT). I am currently completing my PhD research in ageing and online consumer behaviour, looking at the online shopping experiences of the Baby Boomer generation.
