Dr Lorenzo Todorow Di San Giorgio

Senior Lecturer, Deputy Course Leader - MBA

Lorenzo Todorow Di San Giorgio

My background is in Ethics (BA and MA at the University of Florence and the Sorbonne University, Paris IV) and Organisational Behaviour (PhD at Henley Business School, Reading University). As a doctoral researcher, I focused on the specific type of inter-organisational and collaborative process, called multi-stakeholder dialogue.

I currently lecture at the MBA, PG and UG level on topics such as leadership development, coaching & change management, sustainability & ethics in business, research methods and organisational behaviour. Besides being deputy course leader of our MBA program (DA and part-time MBA), I am the director of our Global MBA course. I am also a trained facilitator, a certified coach and a sustainable business consultant, with several years of experience in the public and private sector.

Research Interests

My research focuses on the concept of dialogue. I am interested in the philosophical aspects of dialogue theory as well as in the most effective ways to facilitate dialogue within cross-organisational collaborations for sustainable development.  I have collaborated with the United Nations Global Compact on a research project assessing the effectiveness of multi-stakeholder round-table initiatives involving multinationals, NGOs, the UN and civil society organisations. I am also currently undertaking research on interpersonal dynamics training for leadership, coaching and walking, personal transformation in organisations, and the facilitation of students classroom and online engagement.
