I am a PTHP Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Faculty of Business and Law.
I am a PhD researcher in Accounting and Financial Management.
My PhD research is interdisciplinary between the fields of Accounting and Auditing.
I am a reviewer of the journal of financial reporting and accounting
I am an experienced lecturer with teaching experience in higher education and professional experience in tax authorities since 2004.
I have prepared and taught different modules in the broad area of Accounting including Managerial Accounting, Feasibility Studies - Accounting, Cost accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Valuation, Taxation, and Auditing to both postgraduate and undergraduate students.
In 2004, I had a BA in Accounting, Menofiya University, Egypt.
In 2005, I was a Tax inspector, Value Added Tax Authority, Ministry of Finance, Egypt.
In 2008, I was an associate lecturer of Accounting and Auditing at Thebas Academy.
In 2012, I had a MSc in Accounting and Finance, Suez Canal University, Egypt.
In 2018, PTHP Lecturer of Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Portsmouth.
I am interested in research that related to the Audit Quality, Reporting Quality and Narrative Disclosure. My research examines how the new audit regime affects the quantity and quality of narrative reporting.
My current research interests include:
- Independent Audit Report.
- Corporate Narrative Reporting
- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Auditing and Taxation.
